Saturday the events start at 9 am with the first check-in, and we should end around 1:30 (Tigers and Wolves will be able to leave around 11:30 and Bears/Webelos dont need to arrive until about 10:30).  Please see the below schedule.  This is subject to change and may accelerate if things go smoothly.  Please be make sure you check-in before your roll-call time.  Late check-ins are the single biggest cause for delays to derby day.  Avoid crusties from your fellow scouts, and arrive on time.

The track will be setup by 8:00AM for a few test runs, and for a few scouts who did not come to the practice and need to make last minute tweaks to their cars to qualify. No sibling cars will race.  There will be at most one test race per scout during this time. Reminder: No graphite allowed in the school.

If you win your rank's race, be prepared to stay or return for the overall pack speed race at the end.  Note there will be a trophy for fastest car in the pack and the "best-in-show" best car design in the entire pack.

If you are volunteering, you received a separate email with your assignments.  Please arrive 30 minutes early.  If you did not get the previous volunteer email and you can help out, let me know ASAP.  We still have a few 2-hour slots that have to be filled.
